Meet our employees

Working at AxIndustries

We asked a few of our employees what it is like to work at AxIndustries and to describe a typical day at work – the culture, the colleagues, and the clients. This is what they said.

Stefan Fridén, Jens-S

Stefan Fridén, Jens-S

I work as a salesman for Jens S Transmissioner AB, within the Stockholm, Uppland, Gävleborg and Baltic districts.

My job includes visiting clients, sometimes by myself and sometimes with fellow salesmen and product specialists from Jens S.

When at the office, I do job estimates, meet with clients and plan for upcoming activities.

In my job, I visit many Swedish and Baltic industries – which I like very much. No day is like the other.

The spirit of friendship is strong here at Jens S. We work together to reach our goals. Personally I’ve worked here for ten years now and many of my co-workers have been here even longer, which proves that this is a healthy and self-developing place to work.

At Jens S we deliver high quality products from the world’s leading manufacturers of transmission components. Of course we always focus on the client in order to confide our technical knowledge and high degree of service.

Maria Ditzinger, Assistant to the MD, Nomo

Maria Ditzinger

I am the assistant to the MD at Nomo. My workdays are very varied, but in brief, it consists of writing protocols, retrieving statistics, placing travel orders and simply being at the heart of things, pulling everything together.

What is best about my work is that it is so diverse; one day is not like the other.

My work place is characterised by an openhearted, nice and comfortable ambience. What is so special is the so-called “Nomo spirit”. So many of us have been working here for such a long time, and still they always welcome the new employees in such an amazing way. They feel at home from the very first day. We have managed to hold on to that family feeling, even though the company has grown and become relatively big.

I hope that our corporate culture does not differ all that much from other companies, because I wish that everyone could go to work and enjoy themselves as much as I do.

Helen Nilssen, ABKATI

Helen Nilssen, ABKATI

I work at ABKATI’s warehouse with collecting, packing and handling orders from customers, as well as taking care of customers who come to collect their orders.

On a typical day at work I take care of incoming orders and transportation documents with the computer, drive the forklift and pack orders.

We have a wide selection and fast deliveries. What sets us apart is our high degree of service to our customers.

My work here at the warehouse is very varying and I meet many customers every day, which is much fun. The culture in this company emphasises the importance of every employee. It’s an enjoyable working environment and a happy spirit. This makes us a jolly team that work well together.

Ivan Martincic, ED

Ivan Martincic, ED

I work as warehouse manager at ED in Helsingborg, Sweden. It’s a service-minded job, characterised by freedom with responsibility. First thing in the morning I print packing slips for all the goods that our drivers are going to deliver according to our weekly scheme. I often also make one or two deliveries to our customers here in Helsingborg. After breakfast the goods come in for us to unpack. Meanwhile we take care of the customers who visit us in our shop. Around two PM I send away the goods that are to be delivered to our customers around Sweden.

The atmosphere is friendly here at ED. There is openness and it’s easy to feel part of the company’s progress. There are no questions that can’t be answered.

Mikael Bengtsson, Eigenbrodt

Mikael Bengtsson, Eigenbrodt

I am warehouse director for Eigenbrodt in Sweden. An important task of mine is making sure that the warehouse is functioning in cooperation with the other features in our company. We exist for our customers so it’s important for us to be in order and have effective routines.

We come in to work before opening hours to prepare for the day’s work. During a normal day we receive goods, register, count, analyse and put it into place at the warehouse. Many goods we receive are packed as bulk, so we repack it in smaller batches. When delivering the goods we pack the goods according to the method of delivering. We give our billing department complete data for debiting. It includes costs for packing, transport etc. We have daily contact with our forwarders regarding how to pick up the goods and choice of transportation method. During the day we have a continuous dialog with our salesmen, both in-house and on the outside. In addition we run the inventory of our warehouse. The more accurate we are in our routines, the easier our day.

I’ve been working here for twelve years now. My colleagues and the team spirit is what I like best. We are all treated as equals, which makes us a harmonic family. There is always someone with a helping hand, no matter what you need. We constantly get information about the status of our orders, result and ideas for new projects. The work environment and our facilities also contribute to making this an enjoyable place of work.

The future of our company is very positive. There’s a team spirit here, focused on mutual goals and how to reach them. You feel part of the operation and you get freedom with responsibility. No one in our organisation is anonymous. We all feel as one Eigenbrodt, simply.
